The following links may also help if you are looking to locate a missing person:

1) Yahoo People Search - a simple online phonebook may have an answer.  This phonebook is run by Yahoo, still one of the biggest search engines on the Net.  >> Click here to visit.

2) WhitePages.com - the person finder section of WhitePages.com. >> Click here to visit

 3) MissingPersons.org (UK based) - a UK charity dedicated to helping find missing people, and also helping those who have gone missing to get back in touch.  >> Click here to visit.

Another thing that might be worth doing is to use the search engines.

I would search for the name of the person as follows:

a) first name

b) "first name" i.e. in inverted commas.

If they have a definite career type or a strong hobby, I would search as follows:-

first name hobby and first name business.  So if I was looking for Mike Smith and I new he was a lawyer, I would search for Mike Smith law.

Search engines to try:

Definitely these, especially Google.

1) Google.com

2) Yahoo.com

3) Cuil.com - a new search engine, claiming to be a very extensive search engine.

If you are a missing person, PLEASE get in touch with your loved ones.  Whatever has been done or happened in the past is just that - THE PAST.  It cannot be changed.  Your loved ones are just that - your LOVED ones.  I guarantee you the relief you will receive will be great.  They will always be there for you and they will always love you, that is why they visit sites like this to try and find you.  Do not worry about financial matters, these are absolutely trivial in the greater scheme of things.
